Congratulations Cub Club for raising a total of $750 FOR RELAY FOR LIFE!!!!!
Cub Club is turning May into Relay for Life Month. We will be hosting fundraisers throughout the month of may, with all proceeds going to the Rushville Relay for Life. The events are as follows:
FRIDAY MAY 27TH - Spray Bottle Fight, Chocolate Slip-n-Slide, and "Red-neck" Slip-n-Slide: This will be the final Cub Club event for the 2010 - 2011 school year. First, it's PAYBACK time for Mr. Apollos. We will start the events will a spray bottle fight/competition. Students will be allowed to participate for a donation (Free for members, $2 for non members), and must bring their own spray bottles (Please NO squirt guns). Who ever is driest after 30 min will win a $25 gift card to El Reparo. Following the spray bottle fight we will have a slip-n-slide covered in 20 - 30 lbs of liquid chocolate...this will be something you will never forget. How do you clean off all of that chocolate? Go down our Redneck slip-n-slide (huge tarp covered in water and soap). What better way is there to ring in summer and celebrate the end of school?!?!?! PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING A CHANGE OF CLOTHES AND TOWEL

COMING SOON: Cub Club T-Shirts
The picture shown to the left is the propsed design for this year's Cub Club T-shirt. Members decided to give people the choice between Orange with Purple lettering or Purple with Orange lettering. We have decided to give students the choice between the two color schemes.
The front design will include the "Cub Club" font shown in the picture, and a simple paw print. The back will have this school year and a list of the "Top 10 Famous Teacher Quotes". We will not be putting names with these...so you guys will have to figure them out :)
The cost of T-shirts will be $3 for members and $10 for non-members. T-shirt sizes will be S - XL and are 50% cotton (an additional charge of $1 will be added to t-shirt sizes XXL). They should be available for pick-up by Thursday May 26th or Friday May 27th.

Cub Club is a group that was started in Jan. 2010 as a way to provide ALL students an opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities.
Sign-ups take place at the beginning of every year, and are free for the first 9 weeks of school.
A $5 membership fee is charged to students who decide to sign-up at a later time.
Cub Club members plan and execute major events and fundraisers for our school throughout the year. We provide fun activities for all students,
fundraising opportunities to help the community and school, as well as chances for social interaction with teachers and peers.
Members of Cub Club also enjoy other benefits like:
1. Exclusive member only events
2. Discount admission on school wide events.
3. Opportunities to participate and execute any Cub Club event.
4. Membership in one of our school's largest clubs.
5. Much More...
